Wellington is the capital city of New Zealand. This is the best place for arts, culture, and cuisine. The city is modest and near a lovely harbor so you can walk it. Then you might take a little trip to the Cuba Quarter for some fun shops and art. Take the Wellington Cable Car to Kelburn for some great views. You can see the city and harbour from high above.

The Bay of Islands is located in the far north of New Zealand. It consists of more than 140 islands and is perfect for water activities such as sailing, fishing, and swimming with dolphins. The Waitangi Treaty Grounds is another attraction, which marks the location where a historical agreement was signed long ago. A museum and traditional Māori meeting houses are found here. It is fun and interesting to explore the Bay of Islands!

Rotorua is unique, filled with natural hot springs, mud, and geysers bubbling everywhere. The Māori village Whakarewarewa offers a display of geothermal features and great Māori culture. Try the hāngi dinner, a traditional food cooked in holes in the ground. Nature and outdoor enthusiasts can enjoy excellent walking trails surrounded by tall redwood trees within Redwoods Forest. You can also try zip-lining, mountain biking, or zorbing for some adventure.
