Kevin Zhang is a Research Officer and the Web Team Coordinator at NZTRI. In his role, Kevin is engaged in the design and deployment of research surveys, web survey analysis and institute website updates and administration. His primary interest is in web technology and the application of ICT in tourism management.
Kevin obtained his Bachelor of Computer Science, Master of Economics from China, and Postgraduate Diploma in Computer Science from Massey University in New Zealand. His background involves information technology and business management. Prior to coming to New Zealand, Kevin worked as a university lecturer in China. He has worked as a computer programmer and web technology analyst for different companies in New Zealand for over ten years.
Kevin’s experiences include:- Lecturing in Information System and DBMS (Database management system)
- Programming experiences in Object-oriented development, Web-based development and Component-based development
- Language skills in using C#, C, C++, Visual Basic, Java, scripting languages (Java script, VB script and PHP script), XML and HTML
- Database skills in using SQL Server, Oracle DB, MS Access, SQLite, PostgreSQL and MySQL.
