Email: keri-anne.wikitera@aut.ac.nzKeri's professional background is in the health industry with a focus on Maori women's health. She was an elected member of the Kaitiaki Group (Ministry of Health, Maori womens health advisory group) for six years. In this role she assisted in developing Maori Health Research policy for the National Cervical Screening Programme. More recently Keri completed a research on Maori solo parents and child immunisation, funded through the Health Research council.
Keri is currently studying towards a Master of Business, majoring in management. She intends to utilise her management skills to support her whanau, hapu in their economic development pursuits, focussing on Maori management and planning. Community involvement includes executive member of the Te Papa Takaro O Te Arawa ki Tamaki Makaurau committee, treasurer of the Okahu Bay Outrigger Canoe Club and an active member of a number of whanau, hapu and iwi trusts.
