Mirza Pedju

Mirza Pedju joined NZTRI in March 2010 as PhD student. Mirza obtained his Bachelor degree in Environmental Science from Manchester Metropolitan University in UK and Master of Environmental and Business Management from the University of Newcastle in Australia.

Mirza’s research will focus on the contribution of marine tourism towards Marine Protected Areas management effectiveness in Indonesia. He chose this research because of his experience in the past 10 years in Marine Protected Area management as well as his involvement in developing Corporate Social Responsibility programme for one of the leading luxury resort in Indonesia.
