The 2005 Sir Barry Curtis 10k Classic Local Economic Impacts

Commissioned by Manukau City Council, this research assesses the economic impacts of the Sir Barry Curtis 10k Classic race on the local Manukau City economy. The research involved a web-based survey of race participants. We review visitor characteristics and expenditure, and the income generation associated with the event. The data obtained from this research was also fed into the online calculator on the T.R.A.C.E. website.
