The benefits of Events & National Identity: Annotated bibliographies

This project involved an extensive literature review of the events tourism literature focussing on the nature and range of benefits typically accruing from sporting events to New Zealand, and the extent to which sporting events can develop national identity and national pride. NZTRI compiled two annotated bibliographies for SPARC in early 2007.
