Simon Milne a keynote speaker at British Columbia Tourism Industry Conference

 Simon Milne gave a presentation at a plenary session at the 2011 Tourism Industry Conference in Vancouver entitled ‘Tourism 2011: Perspectives from New Zealand’. Simon’s presentation was a high-level overview of how the industry in New Zealand is doing and and he also drew some parallels with the British Columbia context. Simon Milne also gave a seminar on 27 October at the Thompson Rivers University to Faculty and students on tourism trends in New Zealand and implications for British Columbia. He also met with various TRU representatives, including John Hull, to discuss student and faculty exchanges and other areas of potential collaboration.
