Biography

 Keith’s career has been predominantly in the corporate business sector.

Originally a marketing specialist, he worked in the Netherlands, UK and

NZ. He later moved into general management and CEO roles which

have included international involvement in markets as diverse as China,

USA and Scandinavia. More recently Keith has been an independent

director on a number of medium to large company boards in both New

Zealand and Australia. He is a member of the Institute of Directors.

Keith’s Not-for-Profit interests have included Chair of Auckland City

Mission Patrons and Chair of Athletics Auckland.

 

Research Interests:

 

Influences on the attitudes and behaviour of host communities

towards tourists/tourism operators

The development and implementation of tourism strategies,

especially at regional level and the opportunities for host

communities to participate in the process.
